“The Ya! Program for Young Adults raises confidence, joins head and heart, and awakens an inner force for leadership in a meaningful life.”
The Ya! Program is a transformative experience for youth 16-19 years of age.
Ya! is an 11 day mountain adventure with a focus on personal, spiritual and environmental skill development and a personal action plan to ground it. The mission of the YA! Program is to lead participants to a more in-depth discovery of themselves as a living individual on the Earth, and to provide tools to express this new sense of self in effective ways.
These discoveries will not only benefit the participant, but also their close relations, their community, and the planet.
The investment that we are asking from the youth that apply to participate in the YA! Program is commitment. The funds needed to offer the program are being gathered from a number of sources: granting organizations, local service clubs, the Columbia Basin Trust, and you – our friends and community members.
We have a goal of supporting any youth who wishes to participate and is accepted, irrespective of their financial ability. This is a core value of our group.
