- WISE TEEN 1 July 14-20 2017
The WISE Teen programs is a one week intensive of 6 nights/7 days, where youth aged 13-16 spend 2 nights/3 days on a hiking trip in the Purcell mountains. Back at the tipi camp, a local elder joins the four experienced adult facilitators to lead the group in reflective activities, canoe trips, hikes, cliff-jumping expeditions, arts and crafts, and camp fire games. Three vegetarian meals per day and baked desserts and snacks are provided. In case of injury, a qualified first aid attendant accompanies the group at all times.
Foundational to the program is the goal to develop a deepened respect for ourselves, each other, and the natural environment that we live in.
